ASEAN Designers showcase at International Arts & Crafts Expo

Designers from the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) are showcasing their award-winning hand-made crafts and hand-woven fabrics and textiles at the Second International Arts & Crafts Expo, which opened recently at the Philippine Trade Training Center. This international expo highlighted exclusively the hand-made as well as hand-woven products made of natural fibre is a learning and sales platform, said Dr. Mina T. Gabor, President of the ASEAN Handicraft Promotion and Development Association. The expo was co-organized by the Department of Agriculture, the Philippine Tourism Authority, Department of Trade and Industry, Department of Finance, and the Department of Science and Technology who are among the partners of AHPADA, which is affiliated with the ASEAN and the World Crafts Council.
